Privacy Policy

landoffersoon is operated by Naik Digital LLC, trading as landoffersoon ("we", "us"). landoffersoon helps you discover and apply to job openings. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the third parties we share it with on your behalf when you apply to a job.

• Account info — name, email, password (hashed), and optionally a Google identity if you sign in with Google.
• Resume(s) — files you upload (PDF / DOCX / TXT). We extract plain text + a few structured fields (name, email, phone, LinkedIn / GitHub URL) from each upload to pre-fill application forms.
• Profile answers — values you type or that we extract from your résumé, used to auto-fill application form fields. Stored keyed by canonical semantic name (e.g.linkedin_url, full_name) so future applications reuse them.
• Application activity — which roles you marked for application, the form fields each portal asked, what we filled, and the final state (submitted / paused / completed / offer received). Plus a screenshot of the form post-fill, stored on our servers.
• Schedule + preferences — your preferred titles, job family, target sources, frequency, run-until date.
• Notification log — copies of emails we send you (subject + body + timestamp) for audit and de-duplication.
• Operational logs — request logs (IP, route, status code) for security + ops; auto-deleted after 60 days.

• Match you to job openings by ranking roles against your résumé and preferences.
• Pre-fill application forms on your behalf.
• Notify you when an application portal asks a question we don't already have an answer for.
• Keep your account, billing, and support history accurate.
• Improve the product (aggregate metrics, no individual identification beyond what's necessary for support).

We share the minimum data needed to deliver the service.

• Anthropic (Claude) — when you opt into LLM-based field matching or cover-letter generation, the JD + relevant ProfileAnswers + résumé text are sent to Anthropic for inference. Anthropic privacy policy.
• Resend — sends our transactional email (notifications, billing receipts forwarded by Paddle). Resend privacy policy.
• Paddle.com Market Limited — our Merchant of Record. Handles all subscription payments, refunds, and billing receipts. We never see your full card number. Paddle privacy policy.
• Google — if you sign in with Google, we receive your email + name + Google account id. We don't request any other Google scopes. Google privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — DNS + edge proxy. Sees IP and TLS metadata. Cloudflare privacy policy.
• DigitalOcean — hosts our servers. Standard cloud-provider terms. DigitalOcean privacy policy.
• Job portals you apply to — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workday, iCIMS, BuiltIn, Workable, Recruitee, Adzuna, Jooble, Findwork, The Muse, USAJobs, LinkedIn, Indeed. When you submit an application via our system, we send the portal whatever fields its application form asked for — typically a subset of your résumé text + ProfileAnswers. We do this on your direction; nothing is shared with a portal until you trigger an application for one of its roles.

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't share your résumé with anyone except job portals you explicitly apply to.
• We don't share your billing info with anyone — Paddle handles that end-to-end.
• We don't use your résumé or ProfileAnswers to train external models. (Anthropic processes data in inference mode only, per their terms.)
• We don't track you across other sites with cookies.

We use session cookies for authentication (set by Better Auth) and a small access-code redemption cookie. No third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

The optional landoffersoon Apply Helper Chrome extension drives form-fill and submission on ATS portals on your behalf. It is single-purpose and operates entirely inside your browser:

• What it reads.The DOM of pages on the origins you've allowlisted (greenhouse, lever, workday, etc.) when an apply is in progress — to find form fields and their selectors. URL of the active tab, the same way your browser's address bar does.
• What it sends. Only metadata posts back to app.landoffersoon.com: which fields it filled (label + slug), success / failure, and any field the matcher couldn't resolve (so a FieldRequest can surface in the dashboard). Page content, screenshots, and raw HTML never leave the device.
• What it doesn't do.It never stores ATS-portal credentials, never reads from non-allowlisted origins, never injects into pages that weren't triggered by you, and never runs autonomously without an explicit "Apply with extension" click.
• Permissions. tabs + activeTab + scripting + storage + <all_urls> host. The host permission is broad because ATS portals span every domain; the extension gates each request against your allowlist on every action.
• Allowlist. Stored in chrome.storage.local on your device. The landoffersoon web app (app.landoffersoon.com) is auto-added on install; you can edit the rest from the "Allowlist" section on /extension.

Source code for the extension lives in the browser-controller/ folder of the public repo so you can audit exactly what it does.

• Account data: kept until you delete your account.
• Operational request logs: 60 days.
• Email notifications log: 90 days.
• External-API call counters: 90 days (used for free-tier rate-limit tracking).
• Backups: rolling 30-day window.

You can:

• Access your data — visit your /profile and /resume pages, or export via CSV from /applied.
• Correct your data — every field on /profile and /resume is editable.
• Delete your account — email [email protected]; we delete within 30 days.
• Export everything — email us; we'll provide a JSON dump within 14 days.

If you're in the EU / UK, GDPR gives you the same rights; we'll honor any rights request from any jurisdiction.

landoffersoon is not directed at children under 16. If we learn we've collected data from someone under 16, we'll delete it.

We'll update the "last updated" date at the top when material changes happen. If we make a change that substantially affects how we handle existing user data, we'll email you in advance.
